Jolynn Tumolo has been writing for health care provider audiences for more than 2 decades. Her writing has garnered numerous awards from the American Society of Health Care Publication Editors and the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, and she was part of the 3-person editorial staff of ADVANCE for Nurse Practitioners that took home a national first-place FOLIO: Magazine Eddie Award for overall excellence in 2005 (fellow winners that year included Newsweek magazine). She graduated summa cum laude from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in journalism and a minor in political science.
